IXI is a Finnish technology company building configurable eyewear — lenses that adapt to the user's needs. These lenses can configure themselves in real-time based on what the user is looking at, whether looking up close or at things in the distance.

A working prototype right from the get-go

A lot is unknown for a product like IXI's before building their first prototype.

The first fabrication often requires, essentially, guessing what could work, requiring multiple iterations before a viable design is found. With our software, IXI was able to test different parameters to find the working design from the first iteration, saving them both time and money.

Essential for IXI was precisely the ability to control the parameters programmatically.
