Juha Riippi

Juha Riippi

CEO & Co-Founder

Juha Riippi is CEO and co-founder of Quanscient, with more than two decades in software development, cloud computing, and digitalisation across engineering, international sales, and executive roles. Before founding Quanscient, he spent 12 years helping build and scale Vincit into one of Finland's leading software companies. He leads Quanscient's commercial strategy and international expansion.

Dr. Alexandre Halbach

Dr. Alexandre Halbach

Co-CTO & Co-Founder

Dr. Alexandre Halbach is Co-CTO and co-founder of Quanscient, where he leads development of the company's multiphysics simulation algorithms. He was previously a postdoctoral researcher at Tampere University working with CERN on superconducting particle accelerator magnets, and a MEMS design engineer at imec, where he created the open-source finite element library SparseLizard, the technological foundation for Quanscient Allsolve. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Université de Liège.

Asser Lähdemäki

Asser Lähdemäki

CPO & Co-Founder

Asser Lähdemäki is CPO and co-founder of Quanscient, leading application and cloud infrastructure development for the Allsolve platform. He previously worked in a growth-stage software company and as a researcher in the Computational Electromagnetics Group at Tampere University of Technology. He holds an MSc in Electromagnetics with a minor in Software Engineering from the same university.

Dr. Valtteri Lahtinen

Dr. Valtteri Lahtinen

Chief Scientist & Co-Founder

Dr. Valtteri Lahtinen is Chief Scientist and co-founder of Quanscient, with over 15 years of work at the intersection of computational physics, mathematics, and quantum technologies. He has held research positions at Tampere University, Aalto University, Boston University, the University of Montreal, and the University of Bologna, and holds a PhD in applied superconductivity. At Quanscient he leads Quantum Labs, developing next-generation quantum algorithms for simulation.

Dr. Andrew Tweedie

Dr. Andrew Tweedie

Co-CTO & Co-Founder

Dr. Andrew Tweedie is Co-CTO and co-founder of Quanscient, with more than 20 years in engineering simulation and deep tech. He founded Kogsys, which builds software and hardware for the ultrasound industry, and earlier co-founded OnScale, the first cloud SaaS solution for engineering simulation. He holds an Engineering Doctorate from the University of Strathclyde and CEng certification from the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
