Dr. Alexandre Halbach

Dr. Alexandre Halbach is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Quanscient. An expert in multiphysics simulation, he leads the development of Quanscient's state-of-the-art multiphysics simulation algorithms.

Before co-founding Quanscient, Alexandre worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Tampere University, collaborating with CERN on the design of superconducting particle accelerator magnets. Earlier in his career, he was a MEMS design engineer at imec, one of the world's leading nanoelectronics research organizations, where he designed microdevices and developed the open-source finite element library SparseLizard, which later became the technological foundation for Quanscient Allsolve.

Alexandre holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Université de Liège. His research focused on applying nonlinear domain decomposition techniques to simulate MEMS.
