About Quanscient

Quanscient was founded in September 2021. Our vision is to make physical prototyping entirely digital and enable previously unreachable designs. We move fast and build things. We empower our customers to do the same. We base our foundations on science, creativity, excellence, inclusivity, and mutual trust.

We are building our product on our world-class multiphysics simulation algorithms, and a cloud-first simulation platform for scientists, engineers and product designers, to reduce the computing time from days and weeks to the time of a coffee break. 

Our next step is to make the simulation quantum computing-powered. At Quanscient, you could be a part of removing the need for extensive wind-tunnel testing for airplanes or drastically reducing the number of hardware prototype iterations in fusion reactor, chip and MEMS design and much more.

About the job

We are looking for a sales development representative who will increase our business by identifying, initiating, and progressing sales opportunities in both prospective and existing accounts. 

Impact you’ll own:

  • Drive and assist discovery conversations during the introductory phase of the sales motion, uncovering each stakeholder's set of business needs, use cases, technical requirements, and purchasing process.
  • Utilize business and industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key stakeholders and generate interest.
  • Develop sequence strategies for multiple stakeholders to engage across various channels, including phone, email and social media.

What you bring:

  • Experience prospecting a complex technical product or service to commercial accounts.

  • Previous experience with a technical software, in B2B sales, or working with research and engineering departments and organization is a plus, but not a requirement.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex topics and translate them into effective messaging and business outcomes for targeted campaigns.

  • Great enthusiasm for speaking to new prospects about Quanscient’s value proposition.

  • A desire to succeed in the role and grow your career at Quanscient.

  • Great communication and negotiation skills.

  • This is a remote position, however, flexibility to work mainly with both European as well as customers in North America (and occasionally other time zones as well) is needed.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, especially with the sales and marketing.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.

  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and one other language is a plus.
